SPD - Mandrel

SPD Mandrel is a full electric stacker equipped with a manipulator for gripping delicate reels. It represents the ideal solution for those who need to handle delicate reels by moving them via their inner core. The reel gripping system via an automatic retraction manipulator always guarantees maximum safety, maintaining the grip even in the event of a dead battery or accidental power interruption. SPD Mandrel is designed for gripping and rotating reels up to 90° to facilitate loading and unloading operations on packaging machinery, and it can be customized according to the load to be handled, the workspace, or the customer's specific requirements.

DESIGNED FOR DELICATE REELS:

Thanks to the pneumatic retraction mandrel, it is able to lift reels via the central core, preventing damage to the external material of the reel and allowing machine loading operations.
CERTIFIED FOR REEL HANDLING:

SPD Mandrel is certified for reel handling according to the latest regulations governing lift truck production. Furthermore, it is equipped with highly technological electronic boards with double safety control.
MAXIMUM SAFETY:

The reel gripping system is extremely safe thanks to the mechanical anti-fall system and the pneumatic release system via an enabling button.
ADAPTABILITY:

The system is designed to accommodate 3” or 6” manipulators with the possibility, upon request, of quick-change replacement.
